MACC arrests three bank officers over RM21 mln loan fraud, graft

KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has arrested three bank officers from two financial institutions in the Federal capital for alleged involvement in money laundering and corruption linked to loan applications exceeding RM21 million.

MACC busts investment scam syndicate with arrest of 10, including seven foreigners

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 22 — Ten people including five British and two Philippine nationals have been arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in connection with an investment scam syndicate which had cheated its victims of about AUD60 million (about RM200 million), according to sources.
